Dr. Aaron Wolff

Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Wolff's Bio

Dr. Aaron Wolff was born and raised in Herndon, VA, just outside of Washington, D.C. Dr. Wolff has had a love of animals from the start, and knew from a young age that veterinary medicine would be his career. His childhood included a seemingly endless plethora of pets including dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, rabbits and ducklings.

As a graduate student pursuing his degree in veterinary medicine, Dr. Wolff spent his summers performing pro-bono spay and neuter surgeries at Angels of Assisi, a low-cost, no-kill adoption center in Roanoke Virginia. After earning his veterinary degree from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, Dr. Wolff returned to Northern Virginia to practice. Years later life came full-circle when he returned as a practicing physician to Clocktower Animal Hospital, a popular Northern Virginia hospital where he originally apprenticed as an undergraduate.

In July 2015 Dr. Wolff and his family relocated to North Carolina and purchased (what was then named) the AMC of Garner, now AMC of Garner Veterinary Hospital. In Spring 2016 Dr. Wolff’s love and compassion for animals lead him to pursue and complete his Fear Free Certification, making him one of the first veterinarians in Wake County and surrounding areas to earn the Fear Free Certification.

Dr. Wolff’s professional interests include internal medicine, nutrition, dentistry and physical therapy. He very much enjoys working closely with clients and educating them on areas specific to the needs of their animals. Dr. Wolff has a deep love for animals and firmly believes that all animals deserve love, kindness and exceptional healthcare.

Dr. Wolff and his wife (hospital administrator) Jessica, have two young children: hockey loving and self-proclaimed Puppy Greeter, Ella and her little brother Julian. Dr. Wolff has two much loved (and very spoiled) shelter dogs, Trevi and Turkleton. When Dr. Wolff’s kids and fur babies aren’t getting his undivided attention, you can find him pounding the pavement as he trains for his next marathon or chasing down hockey scores.
