ANNUAL PHYSICAL EXAMINATION.
A year between physical examinations for your pet is like seven years between annual examinations for us.

Annual Vaccinations against:
Canine Distemper
Canine Hepatitis
Leptospirosis
Parainfluenza
Parvovirus
Coronavirus
Bordetella
Bronchitis
Rabies

Note: Some of these vaccinations are combined for fewer injections.

**Routine heartworm test & year round heartworm preventive given once each month
**Annual intestinal parasite examination & deworming as indicated
**Daily exercise
**Constant supply of fresh, clean water

**NUTRITION:

1. Feed high quality foods, not the generic or cheap brands. Cheap brands of dog food substitute low quality protein sources, which often cannot be utilized by your pet. We highly recommend the premium, high quality foods. These foods are much more concentrated than typical grocery store brands. Even though these foods cost a little more than commercial store brands, over a month’s time, it really will not cost you more to feed your pet, since you will be feeding less food if you follow the chart on the package. These foods greatly decrease stool volume.

2. Feed your pet at least twice daily.

3. It is best not to feed table scraps including milk. These often makes the pet a “finicky eater” as well as cause vomiting or diarrhea.

**Grooming and Nail Trimming as Needed.

**While you pet your dog daily, observe closely for any abnormalities, lumps, rashes, tumors, fleas, etc.

**Consider the advantages of having your pet neutered or spayed at an early age:

Female Dogs: Prevents heat cycles attracting male dogs. uterine infections, uterine and breast cancer and will prevent unwanted puppies.

Male Dogs: When done at an early age, prevents unwanted behaviors such as territorial marking with urine, roaming, fighting, and aggressive behavior. Medically indicated for the prevention of prostate cancer, testicular tumors and rectal tumors.

**Use CET CHEW- EEZ™ or PRESCRIPTION DIET T/D™ daily to aid in the prevention of dental disease.
